Made to Measure Curtains

Windows do not come in standard sizes and curtains should be tailored to suit the specific dimensions of each window.

Curtains don’t just provide privacy to a room, they can help to provide insulation and can be the main feature in a room design.  At Avida our curtains are made to measure to fit the character and dimensions of your room and window.  Your made to measure curtains will be unique to you and you can rest assured that no one else will have the exact same window treatment as yours.

We offer a wide variety of headings  from the more traditional pinch/goblet pleats to the contemporary look of eyelets or tab top designs.  We can even help you with your designs to achieve the right look to complement your surroundings.

Our curtains are handmade and lined using a high quality lining as standard. Lead weights are inserted into the hems to improve the way the curtains hang.

For a more luxurious look and feel why not have them interlined or add a black out lining for those who find that the light nights and mornings interfere with their sleep.

With the exception of pencil pleats, our headings are all hand pleated with the spaces and pleats calculated and arranged to fit the size of your window and to show off your fabric to the best effect.
